The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification that provides an introduction to teaching for those wanting to work in the Further Education and Skills Sector.
The 4-day course is delivered face-to-face and provides an understanding of the specific roles and responsibilities relating to the planning and delivery of training sessions.
Course Content
The AET course develops knowledge and skills relating to:
– Planning and delivering inclusive training sessions
– Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
– Relationships between teachers and other teaching professionals
– Assessing learners
– Providing constructive and developmental feedback
This course is delivered by instructors with extensive experience in teaching within both clinical and higher education sectors.
Eligibility
The AET course is appropriate for those who work or would like to work in the further education sector or skills sector for further education colleges, independent training providers or local authorities.
